It was my privilege to open the Bible again this morning and tell people about Jesus. If you live in the North Sydney-Sydney Mines area, I encourage you to come out to the meeting next Sunday morning. I'd be happy to see you there :-)

Ok, so nobody showed up in a classic car... (unless the pastor's 2006 Dodge Caravan counts). But we had a great turnout this morning. We enjoyed the sunny day, ...sang about Jesus and learned together. This week we looked at the topic of "Comfort Instead of Panic in Prophecy." So many false teachers on TV and the internet are using the pandemic to scare believers and to promote their own biased agendas. Knowing what the Bible says...and what it doesn't...serves the believer in Christ well and places him/her in a position of peace and trust. See more

Our God is a good God. First Sunday back worshipping on the church property together. Praying for wisdom for our political leaders, protection and strength for... our medical/essential workers, and healing for those affected by the virus. The drive in service went well. Would have liked less rain and wind, but can't have everything. :-) We talked about why believers should be handling this crisis differently than those around us. 1. We have a different God - there are many gods worshipped today. We have a God we can trust. 2. We have a different Gospel - the good news that Jesus died and rose again for our forgiveness and a home in Heaven one day. 3. We have a different Goal - investing our lives in the kingdom of God - Serving Him by serving others. See more
