Have you got your tickets?
"Thanks so much for your patience and support through this very short season." The timeline of Alberta's planned framework to lessen health restrictions means Jasper Place Curling Club has made the hard decision to end 2020/21 season. Please take a few minutes to watch this message from our club manager Cathy Craig, who outlines where we're at and next steps.
Have you bought your tickets today?
Every day a new draw. Make a plan, or make a group and buy your tickets. This will help all Alberta curling clubs.
This picture has been around for years, I don’t even know who to credit. But has it ever been more appropriate?
Exciting collaboration time! This Saturday, we will be selling a heat-n-serve chicken and waffle featuring buttermilk fried chicken from our good friends Drift ...Food Truck! Comes with beet slaw, chili syrup, and pecorino butter in a nifty little box with heating instructions. Limited quantity avaliable, pre-order only. Pickup between 10am-12pm Jasper Place Curling Club or in-Edmonton delivery available for $5. We will be cutting off orders on Thursday at noon for this one, so DM us to snag some deliciousness.
All of us after too many months without a haircut. Fingers crossed that we can return to the ice later this month.
There is so much to love about this video. (But maybe especially the hairstyles.)
This sounds fun. It won’t last.
Starts today....
Yep. It’s quiet here too.
Let’s show hockey that curling can support 50/50 raffles too! Tickets on sale Friday: https://curlingalberta.ca/5050-2/
Hopefully this gets to go ahead. I understand it will be based on the NHL bubble model from summer 2020.
At least we still have beer.

When it comes to Christmas crafts, Martha Stewart has nothing on the local brews we’ve got chilling in our cooler. This year, Jasper Place Curling Club is offering a new takeout opportunity with our tall can JPCC Craft Beer Box. What it lacks in fancy packaging, it more than makes up for in volume 2.5 litres more, in fact, than other small-can beer calendars. At $150, this Craft Beer Box is bound to be a hit. Hurry and get your order in to Cathy by Nov. 25 so you can raise ...a toast on Dec. 1 the first day of the last month of the longest year in our lives. Call 780-489-6428 or email [email protected]. * Not exactly as pictured. ** Yes, there will be 24. *** You can select varieties or leave it to us. **** All puns intended.
A mockumentary series about curling in Yellowknife is in the works after its pilot won the top prize at the Yellowknife International Film Festival. The trailer is hilarious.
First this is a sweet face-covering. Second, it's also a good reminder that with COVID numbers continuing to rise, Curling Alberta is urging curlers to wear masks during play (removing as necessary while sweeping, catching your breath, drinking water, etc). If you can't wear a mask, just be sure to keep a safe distance from other players. Read more on the Curling Alberta website: https://curlingalberta.ca//CA-Updates-RTP-Guidance-Masks.p
