Yep...still a bit frosty out there! This polar vortex has made it too cold for clouds to form, and we are over the moon about it! The skies this week have provided the goods with some of the most spectacular viewing opportunities ... Dress warm and stay safe folks. Thank-you to the wonderful (& brave) stargazer's who have made it out already this week! We are nearly booked up for the entire weekend with very few open spots remaining and are looking forward to more impeccable skies above!

#terrestrialtuesdays are for focusing on the earthlings that make The Jasper Planetarium so stellar. What better way to begin than by introducing the first point of contact for guests; Tennille is a pro at all things front desk related (and wooing anybody in close proximity with her friendly demeanour and contagious laughter)! ... Her favourite cosmic wonder is the Andromeda Galaxy. Who can resist the shimmer of a trillion stars? the mystery of what lies in an object 2.5 million light years away? or a fascination with inevitable merging this galaxy will have with our own Milky Way? Planetarium sweetheart by night, mountain adventurer by day, and Hairstylist extraordinaire on the weekends- oh, and she sings and plays piano too! Talk about a Rockstar!
