Saffron & Singing Bowls October 30, 7 pm Vicki Gabereau will host Victorias first annual "Saffron & Singing Bowls" fundraising event at the Atrium in downtown Victoria. The Atrium will be utterly transformed for the evening: dramatically draped in saffron and jewel tones, and hosted by sari-clad young women delivering heaping platters of Indian and non-Indian appetizers. Traditional and Bollywood dancers will fire up the night with a perfect blend of sitar, violin and perc...ussion beat as backdrop. Attendees will also experience a silent and live auction of many beautiful items brought over from South Asia. The event will raise funds for Child Haven International - one of Canadas top charities.
