With the first order through the Jaxon Naturals 4 Sport program complete and ready to deliver on Monday, the promised donation to Kidsport in PEI is complete as well. Knowing how much money was raised made me feel good....but doing this donation to Kidsport - that made my heart happy

Most of you know my business is based in my home (for now ) and some of you know I homeschool as well....heres my favourite way to combine these. Im capping lip balm but before that we spent some time on problem solving, fine motor skills and hand eye coordination - aka putting together a little toy car without directions. Jaxon has an amazing memory so we do it once together and then he does it on his own for a bit so I get to work. Have a fantastic day!!

I was contacted last week by a bride wondering how much notice I needed to provide her with 25 lip balm to be added to the assortment of local goodies she had put together for wedding favours. Possible catch? The wedding was that Saturday! No big deal because a couple of hours later, she popped by and picked up her assorted lip balm. I just saw a photo and it looked like an amazing day filled with amazing (local) products! . I was asked once by a consultant I was working with what my favourite product to make was....since Im eyeball deep in lip balm, I thought Id share with you all - I love making lip balm!! Its the one product I carry where I can show some creativity...enter the limited time lip balm (did someone say pumpkin spice?) And lip balm makes my house smell so good. My husband always thinks Im baking when maple lip balm is on the agenda. Dont get me wrong, I love making everything but lip balm has a special place in my heart

19 years ago last night, thousands of people went to bed with their loved ones for the last time. Some were excited, looking forward to the trip theyd be taking in the morning. Well Friday, the program got its first order and what an order it is!!! Island... Gymnastics Academy raised themselves some major funds. I was beyond thrilled to hear from them and they told me how easy it all was. So easy, in fact, they are already talking about their next one!! Our little shop in Avonlea Village closed yesterday and I wanted to say a couple of quick thank yous. First to my fellow island creators that I had the pleasure of sharing the space with - your creativity amazed me every time I walked into the shop. Thank you for including me in your talented group! Second to everyone that walked through our door - your support and encouragement was beyond appreciated! I cant tell you how many times one of you told me what a beautiful shop... it was. We were very unsure what the season would look like and because of you, it exceeded our wildest expectations. Thank you isnt enough! Remember that even though the season is over, you can still find us on social media. Ask if you cant remember the name of one of our businesses. As for me, the last Saturday of the month (as long as its safe), my door is open from 2-4pm for product browsing or purchasing in Abram-Village. And I deliver from up west to Charlottetown throughout the month and there are a few spots across the island carrying my line. Until we meet again
