It's one of the most personal songs I've ever written, but I think you'll agree that it would have sounded a little out of place on a Looking For Heather album. It was meant to very live and raw sounding, one guitar one vocal, that's it, nothing fancy. I had some harmonies, and other things I was toying with adding but I alwa...ys just came back to keeping it simple. It was written in 2013-14 which were great but tough years. It was almost a therapy song for me in a sense, I'd play it to myself at low points as a pick-me-up and a reminder to let go of things like hate, fear and anger so I could grow into the person I wanted to be. It always helped me so now I think I've finally grown enough to share it with you and hopefully, maybe it might do the same for someone else.
