Hello folks! As we all know the increase of COVID-19 has us all unsure of the future and what is going to happen in regards to business closure! I highly recommend booking appointments as soon as possible. I am definitely prepared to fix haircuts once again, however I'm sure we would all like to avoid that this time around. I know we all had a few laughs about the unfinished cuts and styles the last closure. Please take care out there and be safe. See you in my chair!

There is a popular belief amongst Chinese, which was inherited by a lot of Filipinos, that a baby born with more than one hair crown is going to be a mischievous and disobedient child. Is there truth to this? Of course the direct answer is no. But how did this belief come about?... I can only surmise that the belief started a long time ago because of two possible reasons. One is that this is not so common that older people at that time who believes in a lot of superstition wants to make sure that the parents properly observes the child. However, because they are unable to give a valid reason for their concern they just decided to scare of the parents by saying that the child is going to be mischievous and disobedient, ergo, they are going to be a problem child. Nevertheless, some Taoist priest believes that when a child has more than one hair crown that means that two or more souls depending on the number of the hair crown has entered into the person’s body when he was conceived. Meaning the child is a reincarnation of more than just one soul, but it doesn’t mean than he has more than one soul, it only means that for some reason two or more souls has merged into one consciousness and inhabited one body to become the person that he is now. This also means that his character might be harder to predict, and it might be harder to manage the person, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that the child is mischievous and disobedient. Again, I would like to clarify that this doesn’t mean that the child is possessed by different souls. It only means that their more than one soul merged together and reincarnated as one. Lastly, I don’t know whether this is a plausible reasoning as to why some people has more than one hair crown and the Taoist priests are divided on this matter.
