Guess who just got a new pair of hand-made cowboy boots from the "Thompson River Boot Co." Yes, I'm a happy cowboy, just look at that huge smile on my face; it goes from ear to ear - Oh! sorry that's my mask. The only way I know how to keep them looking "pretty" is not to ... wear them. So, this will be your last chance to really check them out. See more

Enjoying life’s simple pleasures. In the attached photo I’m having a lot of fun helping a kitten steer my tractor. I’ve never had children of my own. So, I adopted horses, then it was dogs and now it’s kittens. I’m a lucky man.

Love it when a plan comes together! As you may or may not know; I've been busy learning a software program that actually allows me to edit some of the already filmed horse training clips. So, to get the ball rolling once again, here is the link to my first video posting on YouTube in 12 years.... "Getting Connected to Your horse"; A "Low Stress" Training Session with a 3 year old Colt. I don't have any etched in stone schedule at this time, but my plan is to post a new video clip on YouTube as often as possible. Hope you enjoy this little clip.

In the attached photo, I’m standing with Cobey, one of the horses that I use in my Veteran’s Program.... In conjunction with UBC, we just wrapped up a very successful 2020 season and are now planning for 2021. Hurray for our Veterans and First Responders, they truly do deserve all the support we can offer them.

To ride a brave horse that has a lot of confidence and body control. Well. I can’t think of anything more enjoyable or fun to do. In the attached photo I’m riding Jessie one of my lesson horses here at Highland House Ranch (Logan Lake BC.) I like to keep all my horses in a relaxed and confident frame of mind as I develop athletic muscles that are both supple and flexible. ... I’m always conditioning the physical body of a horse to carry my weight in a balanced frame, which by the way, does take time, consistency and Super Duper Low Stress Communication Skills.
