Today's gusty winds will continue to ease tonight but strong southwesterlies ramp up for Saturday afternoon (40-60+ km/h) ahead of an approaching cold front. It will be warm though with a chance for showers on Saturday ahead of steadier rain Saturday night. Sunday will be cool with morning showers possible but Monday at least looks pretty sunny. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving folks!

While it may not be quite as windy as yesterday (see peak gusts from Thursday), P.E.I. is still seeing 60+km/h gusts inland today with gusts topping 80 km/h for more exposed coastal areas (see current gusts for 11 a.m. ADT). These strong winds will gradually ease this evening.
