It is mid-October right? Whew! Here is a look at some notable high temperatures for P.E.I. as of 4 p.m. today.

Looking at the temperature trend over the next week, it's hard to believe this is mid-October? There is a chance Ch'town Airport may record its 100th day this year where the temperature reaches 20C or more!
Wednesday will be windy, rainy and warm as an approaching storm system moves through. There's even a chance for a rumble of thunder! Here is your digital weather update for Tuesday October 13th.
Showers move in overnight ahead of a rainy and windy Wednesday. Most areas look to see rainfall in the 10-20 mm range but locally higher amounts are possible with a risk for isolated thunderstorms. Oh, and these strong southerly winds will see temperatures soar into the high teens!

Today's gusty winds will continue to ease tonight but strong southwesterlies ramp up for Saturday afternoon (40-60+ km/h) ahead of an approaching cold front. It will be warm though with a chance for showers on Saturday ahead of steadier rain Saturday night. Sunday will be cool with morning showers possible but Monday at least looks pretty sunny. While it may not be quite as windy as yesterday (see peak gusts from Thursday), P.E.I. is still seeing 60+km/h gusts inland today with gusts topping 80 km/h for more exposed coastal areas (see current gusts for 11 a.m. ADT). These strong winds will gradually ease this evening.
