So these were last Wednesday and quite likely the reason I couldn't push as well on Saturday for a max deadlift. I felt good and pushed for it, so this is 540lbs for a double on conventional deadlift. Even though my deadlift posted for the virtual meet wasn't as good as it should have been I'm very pleased with this and how it moved. I know that when properly peaked ill be able to join the 600 club.
My entry for the virtual deadlift competition @wpccanadapowerlifting @grandmawholifts 545lbs Missed the goal and had to drop the weight repeatedly until I was able to get a good lift. Just a bad day itll be better next time
Squats from last weeks SBD day Top set of 10 with 363lbs Followed by 3 x 10 with 330... The best part of these high rep sets with the weights I've been using has been the ability to maintain form. My squat has always been my best lift form wise. The last time I failed a squat was in my first meet in May of 2018. I fully intend on keeping that streak going and I know I can because I've learned how to listen to my body for squats. I know when to pull back and when I can push. The best advice I ever received was simple, Listen to what your body tells you and follow it.
Really loving yates rows lately. Can definitely see the growth in my traps and back. You don't have to use a ton of weight as long as you use it with purpose.
Some yates rows to really push the back growth. Very happy with the trap development so far during this phase.
