Muladhara is known as the Root charka. Located at the base of the spine to the lower feet of the body. The Root charka is known as the grounding charka that keeps you grounded to mother earth. We are all tied to a silver cord that keeps us here to earth in a spiritual sense. Like a baby with an umbilical cord to the mother's womb, mother earth is like the womb and we are you children in her womb. Once the silver cord is snapped we die. Muladhara chakra is known as the stabili...ty chakra. It's an earthly chakra that brings stability, security, warrior focused grounded engery. Root charka warns us of danger that flight or fight mentality, this is your basic survival chakra. This chakra is also known for the bonding of mothers. Red is the colour of symbol of this charka, red is the colour of life and death where the survival aspect comes into play. When the Root charka is balanced we have stability, we feel safe, secure, grounded, lively, healthy, wealthy, healthy bond with our parents. If the Root charka is unbalanced we have rage, fear, anger, violence, insecurity, lost, poverty, no bond with our parents, over weight/ under weight, constipated, anaemia, low self-esteem, and anxiety.
