This company aims to reduce salon waste by up to 95% and hopes to make salons waste free by 2025! Along with our unused colour Green Circle Salons recycles all of our single use items such as perm papers, paper towels, and wax strips, all of our used foils and colour tubes, all of the hair we sweep off the floor as... well as your typical recycling such as cans and plastic bottles. Im sure you guys have noticed I do a LOT of donations! This is because @caralyns_hair we work closely with @hairdonationottawa and @angelhair4kids . Angel hair for kids is an organization that makes handmade wigs for kids that we at Caralyns buy and donate to a handful of kids in need. Hair Donation Ottawa in an organization run out of @cheohospital , a childrens hospital here in Ottawa. They run a yearly event where participants raise money that goes towards Childhood canc...er research and recieve prizes as well as typically a free haircut at their yearly event. This year obviously things have changed due to Covid-19 and the wonderful and gracious participants have had to get their donations cut at a salon or at home but we at Caralyns still collect it all and get it into the right hands!
