Going grey? This pandemic has given a lot of people the chance to see their true hair colour. And unfortunately for a lot it has come in with more grey then they thought. But that’s not always a bad thing! So many are now looking to embrace that grey. But that doesn’t mean just letting it go and having that terrible grow out where you can’t stand looking at yourself in the mirror for months, if not years! ... Here are some things to keep in mind when it comes to embracing grey: 1. It can take a while to get to where you want to go but you can enjoy the process on your way by trying out some new styles. 3. Opt in for some babylights. Adding in babylights will mimic those little salty pieces that have moved in. 4. If you are impatient and want it done quickly you can get a colour correction to remove all the old unwanted colour. 5. There is still maintenance involved. Going grey isn’t a one time thing if you want it to look good. Generally it requires toners, purple shampoo and touch ups to your colour. 6. Its an adjustment! Some might not feel as passionate about you going grey as you are. So make sure you are confident and ready to rock that grey! It’s just an inspiration. We don’t work miracles and can’t make you look exactly like a Kardashian! Keep that in mind ... 2. When looking for inspiration, look at people who have similar skin tone and hair density as you to give a good idea how that style will look on you. 3. Look at the pic and try to pin point what it is that draws you to that pic. 4. Figure out how much your willing to commit, both time and money, to creating that look. Having inspo pics are great for first time clients, so the stylist can get to know you and what you are looking for.
