Mortgage Broker? Mortgage Specialist? What’s the diff?? Interesting conversation with my high school friend Richard today over the differences between a broker ( I.e. ME ) and a specialist. Here’s my answer:... I’m tied to my clients only. Mortgage specialists work for a specific bank. Mortgage brokers work only for their clients.
