We don’t normally get excited on window day, but when covid puts them 3 months behind schedule, it sure made us happy. We will have this one looking Awsome in another week.

The last bit of makeup has been put on this custom build, just in time to move inside, of the cold weather.

If it weren’t for covid slowing down our material deliveries, we would have shared this progress report much sooner, but we are finally gaining some ground.

Planning is key, but the efficiency is in the process. One of our next projects is moving forward at full speed, just in time to beat the winter.

Rember me? This was a project we posted at the framing stage in late 2019. It takes many skilled trades to complete these beautiful homes, but when you put the right people in place to complete the job, you end up with one of the nicest homes on the water. ... Keep watching to see what turns up just down the road.

Another new build on beautiful Bark Lake is taking shape.

We have plenty to keep us on the move, but it is never to soon to start preparing for whats next. We are getting some lots ready for things to come in 2021.... Stay tuned to see what we have been up to this summer.

The beginning of another custom build on the shores of beautiful Bark Lake. This one is going to be a dream!

Life is good when your living on island time! The lucky owners of this new home have finally seen their dreams turn into a reality, and the project come to an end. Our team has transformed this lake side lot with an old cottage, in to a beautifully landscaped lakeside home. With the help of all of our professional trades, the finished product is outstanding. ... Once again, we have some very satisfied clients, and another great complete build in our portfolio.

What do you do in a week of scorching hot temps? Frame a garage, put on the soffit, facia, and roofing, frame an elaborate floor systems, all while getting the footings formed and poured for the next new build, and working shorter days. To top it all off, we have happy clients, and clean job sites.

When the view from our job sites are are always this spectacular, how could you not want to go to work. This will be the everyday view for our next custom build.

The way the finished product looks is always important, but the things you dont see in the end play a key part of the building function. The owners of this new custom build will never have cold feet, but its a shame we have to bury this work of art in concrete.

Here is a sneak peak of of one of our renovations that are nearing completion. The transformation from cottage to home is a complete remodel of the main floor and walk out basement.

What a transformation! In a short period of time, we turned this old cottage in to a lakeside dream. We love the positive feedback from these happy clients.

Today its dirt, next week a garage to match the new house.

Announcement.... The summer weather is upon us here in the Madawaska Valley Township. The Barrys Bay BIA welcomes all cottagers, visitors, vacationers, and loc...al customers back to our businesses with smiles and warm wishes. With the Covid 19 situation this spring we were forced to cancel our Bay Day Festival which has been our signature Welcome Back event for our summer residents and a fun day for our local friends and neighbours. Many BIA businesses are open and prepared with new government-suggested safety practices in place for summer residents, visitors, and year round patrons. The new shirts are in, with a bit of twist. As our business has continued to evolve, we have made our place as a custom builder, and our new name speaks better to what we do.... We will be rebranding over the next 12 months, which will mark 10 years in business. Along with the name change, we will be making some other changes, including adding in house design services in 2021. We look forward to things to come, and are grateful for the continued support of our team, clients, friends, family, and community supporters.

Another one in the books. We started the footings for this one is November, and the new home is ready to move in. The completion of this new build marks the start of a new chapter in our business. We will be making an exciting announcement soon about things to come.

The Ontario government has reduced their list of essential services during the civil-19 crisis which will effectively shut down more of the construction industry. This will affect our business moving forward. We agree, and intent to comply with the order, but would like to make it clear that our service is essential to some people. The new order is allowing any new single family residential projects to continue, as long as a building permit has been granted. We currently h...ave open permits, and people counting on us to complete their new homes. We also deal with emergency calls, and have maintenance work that needs to be completed regularly. You will see our trucks around, as we will continue to be working to complete only necessary projects. As mentioned in our last post, we are not making site visits for new work, nor will we be starting or completing any projects that can wait. Our office will remain closed, but we are able to review plans, and complete estimates and quoting while working from home. We value the health and safety of our team, families, friends, clients, and community, above all else, and will not make desicions to put anyone at at risk. We will not hesitate to cease operations at any time if necessary. In uncertain times, there is one thing we can all agree on, and that is the fact that we will get through this, together. Time to start moving out, so the owner can move in. This one came together very quickly, and we are ahead of schedule for completion. We are working on final touch ups and cleaning, and will post pictures of the finished product next week.

Good morning everyone, Durning these uncertain times, it has important that everyone must do their part to help control the spread of the Covid-19 virus, so we are making the following changes to business operations, effective immediately. Our office will remain open by appointment only, for existing clients, trades people, and deliveries for ongoing projects.... We will not be taking on any new projects, visiting private residences, or providing estimates for work at this time. Our priority in uncertain times is to take care of our current projects and clients, and emergency repairs. Our team will continue working on site, and maintaining usual business hours for now, but this may change without notice. We are fortunate to have great support from our community, and the opportunity to work and live and such a beautiful area. We will look forward to returning to business as usual, but for now, its everyones responsibility to make decisions in the best interest of the people around us.
