Starting tomorrow Just Cut It Sawmilling will be open 10-2 Saturdays to help people get started on their yard projects! We are a bit low on inventory but have some misc. boards for your spring projects. Everything in the pictures you see is around $1-$1.60/bdft which is 50%-75% less then the lumber stores! Come by tomorrow if you see anything you might need!

After a tough few weeks things came together a Just Cut It Sawmilling. 2 out 3 mills which includes the Mighty Mite after an extensive set up process. Nice when it all comes together and it starts raining beams!

Looking for a mobile mechanic to come change a large hose on our forklift and troubleshoot a fuel problem on our bobcat. If anyone has is able or has some suggestions who could come out with their service truck, let me know, thanks!

Well if you radiator fan bearing goes and you still need your machine to run, I can confirm straping a leaf blower to it blowing air through the radiator onto the engine is a simple, effective and extra noisy way to keep your engine from over heating. 24 hours in and 20 liters of mix gas in and she's running tip top!

Just Cut It Sawmilling is honored to be given the opportunity to provide yellow and red cedar for refurbishing the SS Klondike located in Whitehorse Yukon! It is one of the last intact paddle wheel boats in Canada and the substructure of the entire ship needs to be reinforced with yellow cedar from Just Cut It Sawmilling to ensure its preservation for years to come. This is our third shipment for this project to Whitehorse so we decide to drive this wood ourselves to see the boat in person and it did not disappoint. A big thanks to Terry Karlsen from Parks Canada for not only the opportunity to provide wood for this historic project, but the exclusive tour of parts of the ship still under restoration. Who would of thought the journey of turning round things into square things would be so interesting?

An absolute privilege to be given the opportunity to provide 50ft of boardroom table for the Metlakatla board room. Its a truly satisfying to take a tree provided from their traditional territory, assess, cut and build the coolest table. Shout out to Peterson Portable Sawmills for not only providing the mill and sanding attachment. Huge thanks to Laurence Penner over at Copper Mountain Cedar Products for the kiln drying services. Big thanks to Steve and Myles for all the hard work. Bring on the next project!

2 milling superstars out at Just Cut It Sawmilling, the sawdust says its so! Steve and Myles have been crushing logs as of late and I couldn't ask for a tighter team. Looking forward to a great summer.

Well that was an incredibly successful day. Hands down the biggest table project we have ever tackled. 50 linial for board room table! 2 separate slabs split and then book matched. Still a few design decisions to make the general idea is there. Big thanks to Myles and Steve for getting this done today. Off to the kiln with these beauties, Laurence Penner you ready?

Just finished this beautiful hemlock slab dining table for a friends house at the lake. Western Hemlock dries up extremely hard and should stand up to the test of time. More of these slabs in stock if anyone is interested check our hemlock slabs #001-#003.
