If you are ginger lover, in this season you may need eat less. In TCM, no ginger afternoon and Fall season we need cool down our skins and close pores to prepare winter like trees. When eat ginger, we have extra heat, pores open and sweat, we are easy to catch the wind and start to feel neck tight, headache, slow bowl movements and start to feel sick. FYI: What JCJ Massage Therapy do to make you safe I am Solo-Practioner clinic: I am a solo-practitioner clinic, and by appointment only, there is no visitor or walking in. Only One client each time, and deep sanitized all rooms before and after.... All clients will be pre-screened, and temperature checked before come in. If you worry about or not sure about yourself or me, we are happy to provide a medical mask (procedure or surgical), which I am using all the time. How I clean the room: UV light: I use 25W UV light both in the waiting room and treatment room. I set up UV light auto on between 8 am-8:30 before the first client. After the client left, I open the UV light for treatment room 30min, then use a disinfectant spray to clean door handle, linens and floor, light switch, chairs, tissue box, pen and sigh board, Pos machine, washroom key as well, whatever the client or I touched. So right now I will need 40min after each client left to clean the room. When you come in everything sanitized. FYI: UV light can not be seen directly, I will lock the door when using it, not recommend that for family use. But I recommend air purifiers with built-in UV light put in your workplace or home. Disinfectant spray: All are on Health Canada's list of hard-surface disinfectants with evidence against COVID-19 Lysol All In One(DIN#02279177) for Fabrics, Saniblend rtu(DIN#02344904) for Hard surface. How I clean the air: I use GermGuardian Air Purifier(Hepa/UVc) in the treatment room all the time. Hepa filter is using on airplanes as well. True HEPA air filter reduces up to 99.97% of harmful germs, dust, pollen, pet dander, mold spores, and other allergens as small as .3 microns from the air. Build-in UV-C light helps kill airborne viruses such as influenza, staph, rhinovirus, and works with Titanium Dioxide to reduce volatile organic compounds I also use a dehumidifier all the time to keep the room around 50%. If too dampness, air purifier and UV light will not clean effectively. From CMTO and Health Canada: Please know that there is a pre-screen question that will be sent to you 2 hours before your appointment. Please finish it before you come, which will be easier before your treatment. And Masks will be needed all the time. The temperature will be checked. Make sure no one has a fever. Please make sure you are not travelling in the past 14 days, and not tested positive or close contact people with COVID 19, And If you feel anything like cough, fever, diarrhea, Please feel free to contact me, I can reschedule your appointment. Because if any potential risks, all the clients after you and my familys will all need to be tested, and the clinic will be close at least 14 days. Thank you for preventing the spread of the coronavirus. We updated our clinic room with UV lights and Hepa/UV-C air purifier, and Health Canada proved disinfectant Saniblend RTU and Lysol for laundry to make everything as clean as possible, 40min cleaning for each treatment, which will maximum make everyone safe. But the fee will be increased by 5 dollars more. I appreciate your concern and cooperation and I will continue to monitor the situation and take additional measures if or when they become necessary to ensure the safety of everyone.
