2 months ago the first happy calves moved into their new calf barn at Arendsdale Dairy Farm...and would you take a look at their awesome setup With capacity for 134 calves in Artex Barn Solutions Calf Zones, a positive pressure ventilation tube and Faromor curtains for a fully sealable barn these calves are set to thrive all year long!

Tuesday marked the beginning of a new routine for cows and farmers alike over at Greenfield Farms in Abbotsford! One DeLaval VMS V310 was started up with cows not only letting down milk right away, but also trying to get back into the robot as soon as they were finished first milking! Out with the old and in with the new! Last week the remaining VMS Classics at KleinAcres were switched out for 2 new DeLaval VMS V300s. Our team flew through the switch and within no time cows were eagerly awaiting their turn for the new robots. The only hiccup was the one cow that tried to eat our camera stay tuned for the video!

This week we started up Tazo Farms (Dave, Skye, Taya and Zoey Hamming) in beautiful Falkland, BC! Along with a DeLaval V300 their new facility features Artex stalls and headlockers for maximum cow comfort. The cows took to the robot like naturals, and nothing says easy breezy robot start up like lawn chairs in the robot room Congratulations to the Hamming family on a perfect start up!

Summer has been busy Earlier this week Davison Farms in Maple Ridge started up two DeLaval V300s in a new barn equipped with a JOZ Moov Pro feed pusher and Artex Barn Solutions stalls & ventilation. Their 120 head herd of ever-curious Jerseys quickly had the barn and robots figured out, not to mention licked over completely! Congratulations to the Davison family on their amazing start up and beautiful new facility!

Congratulations to the Rennie family of Legendairy Farm on a successful start up at their beautiful new location in Armstrong last week! Switching from VMS Classics to DeLaval V310s proved to be a breeze even in the hot weather, the cows quickly got acquainted with their new barn and naturally went to the robots within an hour of getting off the trucks. We could not have asked for a hotter start up to round out July

Some still shots of the new DeLaval P500 parlour at Vandeburgt Farm! Maximizing on space, the parallel parlour configuration increased their parlour from a double 12 to a double 20. Congrats to the Vandeburgt family on their new parlour!

What better way to round out dairy month than with a parlour installation? So far this month has seen 7 V300s started up, Evanza claws installed and now a DeLaval P500 parallel parlour installed. An interesting install, this video shows 8 hours of dismantling half of the old parlour and installing the new one, all while cows get milked on the opposite side!

23 years ago J&D Farmers Dairy Service installed a DeLaval double 8 Herringbone parlour at Jonker Holsteins and on Tuesday, with 4 generations in attendance, 3 V310s started up right next to that original parlour! Congratulations to the entire Jonker family on a great start up and your new V310s! Any guesses what technology the 4th generation will be farming with in the future?
