Jordan was born and raised in Simcoe and was an honours graduate from Simcoe Composite School. He attended the University of Waterloo where he graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. Jordan completed his Doctor of Optometry from the New England Colleg...e of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts with honours. He was the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship and a Leadership Scholarship during his studies in Boston. Jordan was also an Anatomy TA for first-year Optometry students during his second and third year. He had various opportunities of Externships throughout all of his schooling which included traveling to China to complete one of his clinical rotations at Wenzhou School of Ophthalmology.
