This one was an oops! My Customer brought in this 5th wheel hitch that had accidentally been run over by an excavator. Hey, it can happen! A quick cut here, a little weld there, all back in functional order!

An emergency driveshaft repair came in on a Sunday afternoon. The truck was on site up the lake, a round trip on the barge costs about $600 plus the time. My customer brought me the drive shaft around noon, picked it up at 3 PM and was able to get the truck working for the following work day, saving the cost of the barge trip.

Did up a little rim repair the other day, the customer hit a pot hole pretty hard and did a number on the inside bead edge. It’s already back on the road for a fraction of the cost of a replacement rim, never mind the downtime waiting for one to get shipped.
