In Streetsville Mississauga, Halloween Theatre is an annual interactive Halloween walk through to help raise funds for Anni's Sugar Buds JDRF campaign! The first walk through Carnevil theme took place in 2018 and raised just over $400. In 2019, the theme was Plainsman Manor and $600 was raised. This year, a Riverview Cemetery walk through was done with several tricks along the way and $1130.00 was raised in support of Anni's Sugar Buds JDRF Campaign! "My name is Stephanie and I was diagnosed when I was 6. When I got to Montreal I joined the community engagement committee, where I get to help plan events, and now I’m also a part of the mentor program. Being a volunteer really helps you connect with people of all ages facing similar struggles as you. I am so glad to be a part of this community through JDRF!" - Stephanie, JDRF Volunteer Help connect with other Canadians living with T1D by volunteering with us! http://bit.ly/Volunteer_Stephanie
