Anyone else always make a mess when in the kitchen? Somehow I always end up making a mess while trying to cook/bake, but we'll call it organized chaos. I just couldn't get enough of these little cheesecakes so I had to mess around with different styles, sets and angles and shoot them some more. ... Do you guys looove Cheesecake?? I sure do! When challenged to take a photo that would go well on a magazine cover and design a (mock) cover for it I was excited to work with these little bakery cheesecakes and some shallow depth of field One of my all time favourite desserts is a good cheesecake. Although I prefer them plain over topped/swirled ones.... This challenge was a lot of fun to execute. It really helps you realize the important of capturing the details but keeping enough empty space to fill up with words and other content around it. Guys September is here! Can you believe the first week is over already? I can't believe how quickly the summer came and went. Everyone is back in school and fall is right around the corner. I had a busy last long weekend of summer last weekend.... The Friday was spent with my family & boyfriend by going to the Canadian National Exhibition, an annual tradition. The Saturday & Sunday I got to see some of my closest friends at a camp out party my boyfriend hosted. And on Monday I went to go a family BBQ with some delicious food. Let me introduce myself: #throwback to my graduation photo (Shot by CannonArt Photography ) from 2017 when I graduated the Creative Photography (still + motion) program at Mohawk College I've since also graduated from the Small Business & Entrepreneurship program at Mohawk as well.... Hi! My name is Jeanne Elsie Coit, I'm the owner of Jeanne Elsie's Photography where I specialize in product & food photography. Though English is my first language I went to a *full* french school from kindergarten to grade 12. Since the community I live in is majority English speaking it was a much smaller school than the other schools in my area. My heritage mainly consists of English on my dad's side and French on my mom's. I'm born, raised and based in Hamilton, Ontario. This place is full of artistic people. #HamOnt is home. I love details. Details are key and really matter more than most people realize. It's my eye for detail that really influences my love of photography. I have a younger brother who's taller than me (who authorized that?) He's a pain in my butt but I love him nonetheless. I also have a 9 year old rescue shih tzu named Nickel. He thinks he's a cat.
