I just learned of the passing of fellow yoga teacher Lesley Fightmaster :'( I'm a follower of her YouTube channel and a fan of her work. Without her knowing, she has mentored me and inspired me from afar. At the beginning of covid her videos were what motivated me to get onto my mat. Her message reminded me that it was ok not to be perfect, and her cheerful voice gave me hope. It seems like she passed away last November but her family only went public about it a few days ago... with a video that I just fell upon today. I did not know her in person, but when we practice yoga with someone even if it is online a connection builds. She become a part of my internal dialogue and when I was following her videos I knew that she was somewhere there in the world and that so many other were also practicing with us in the place where neither time nor space existed. She will be missed. I send my condolences to her family and her fans. If you wish to know and commemorate this wonderful soul, her practices can be found on her channel.
