We hear the phrase listening to your body all the time, but what does that mean? It means slowing down, tuning out the nonsense, and asking questions. How am I feeling? How are my energy levels? Where is my head at? How am I feeling in my body? With all the non-stop activity going on around us (work life, family drama, friend time, gym classes, TV binges, etc), it’s so easy to ignore what’s going on inside us. At the end of the day, your biggest responsibility is YOU. Your body is always sending you feedbackso tune in, take notes, and start writing a new rule book for how you’ll care for yourself! Start listening to your body soon and let me know if I can help!

Perhaps the biggest benefit of foot reflexology is improved circulation which means better blood flow throughout and oxygenation of cells. This allows the body to maintain healthy blood and oxygen flow throughout the body, allowing your lungs, heart and muscles to function properly and efficiently. You’ll fight off and avoid potential diseases and sicknesses. With good circulation, the white blood cells in your immune system will be transported around the body as needed.... You’ll also have a relaxing treatment and feel great afterwards.

And never feel guilty about taking time for self care! Self-care encourages you to maintain a healthy relationship with yourself so that you can transmit the good feelings to others. You cannot give to others what you don’t have yourself. While some may misconstrue self-care as selfish, it’s far from that. When you pay adequate attention to your well-being, you’re not considering your needs alone. You’re reinvigorating yourself so that you can be the best version of yourself for the people around you. Everyone around you also benefits from the renewed energy and joy you exhibit.
