After 50 days on the road, I'm happily home in Toronto quarantining for the next fourteen. Beginning September 20, there were stops at Spokane, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Chicago, Bainbridge and Seattle. Exciting projects at Manito, Minneapolis Golf Club, Town and Country Club, Briarwood, Wing Point and Inglewood make it all worthwhile. #golfarchitectureinamerica
Monday morning at Inglewood, Seattle.
A.V. Macan’s 4th hole at Inglewood Golf Club, Seattle - which we restored a few years ago - was screaming to have its picture taken this morning.
Our recent renovation of the par 5 4th hole at Town & Country Club in St. Paul, MN is finishing up nicely under the direction of golf course superintendent, Bill Larson.
More interesting things are happening on the golf course at Wing Point, Bainbridge Island, Washington.
Garrett Morrison and Andy Johnson (The Fried Egg's) do such a great job putting this content together, it's a privilege to play a small role: https://thefriedegg.com/school-of-golf-architecture-part-5/
The Good-Good Golf Podcast, Episode 51: Canadian architect Jeff Mingay joins the pod this week to discuss the role of architecture in the game beyond just creating interesting golf plus the responsibility of designers in educating the golf public about what constitutes 'good' golf. https://good-good.fireside.fm/51
Some of our recent work at Wing Point, on Bainbridge Island, Washington, captured today.
Beautiful morning to visit Wing Point Golf and Country Club: en route from Seattle to Bainbridge.

When we're done with this expansion at Uplands Golf Club, in Victoria, B.C., Winged Foot-West will no longer be the only vintage course with a big ol' tree looming a bit too close to its 2nd green.
The smoke's not slowin' us down at Uplands Golf Club, on Vancouver Island, British Columbia.
It’s always a privilege to hangout at The Toronto Golf Club.
Fun day lookin' at a potential new project with my accomplice, fellow golf architect, Christine Fraser.
'twas a perfectly gloomy morning to work on the new 5th green at Cutten Fields, today.
Cool video, about even cooler greens, from The Fried Egg: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qfx86KMkBy0
'twas a beautiful morning at Rivermead Golf Club, in Aylmer, Quebec, where we're planning for the next phase of golf course improvement. With an average of 250+ golfers on the tee sheet each day this season, golf course superintendent Jamie Knorr and his staff have the place in remarkable shape.
At long last, we're thrilled to announce the official relaunch of jeffmingay.com. It is fitting that the Victoria Golf Club, my first client club, is featured on the homepage. A decade later, my relationship with Victoria continuesalong with many other fine clubs that have entrusted their architecture to me over the years. It brings me great pride to credit those individuals who were involved in bringing each of these projects to life and making me look good along the way. And thank you to the talented team at Certo Creative who have compiled this beautiful presentation of my work to date. Check it out and sign up to the newsletter!
Exciting to see grass goin' down and sand in the bunkers at Cutten Fields' new par 4 13th hole, in Guelph, Ontario, today.
Onsite at Cutten Fields today with the two most important guys on this project: golf course superintendent, Bill Green, and golf course construction extraordinaire, Mark Hughes.
On day 2 of Town & Country Club's annual Invitational tournament, in St. Paul, MN, assistant superintendent Erik Tolzmann's kind enough to send a couple photos of the par 3 third hole, where we restored a "horseshoe" bunker last year.
Minneapolis Golf Club's new bentgrass continues to shine. The course reopened in June following a comprehensive re-grassing project last summer. Thanks to Green chair Matt Gibb for the photos, and golf course superintendent Jared Keller and his staff for the great work.
Enjoyed playing our new holes at Rivermead Golf Club, in Aylmer, Quebec, last week.
At Cutten Fields, in Guelph, Ontario, today: watching new 16 grow in and new 13 coming together.
