Ok, long time since I posted. Sorry 'bout that. Life, as we all know, has been "creative" lately, and not in the nice, productive way. Found an unfinished draft of song lyrics that I started ages ago, when it became clear that Toivo saw things differently than anyone else around him. Anyone who sees things differently must always find a way to adapt to that fact. I remember this from my elementary and secondary school days. I know that I am not alone in feeling that wa...y, but that it most assuredly feels very very solitary when you are going through it. I post my lyrics here. I suspect that I will find the melody next.... Different Eyes (v.1) Don’t be angry at me, please, ‘cause your favorite puzzle’s done. I didn’t mean to do it, can’t help myself anymore. Once that first pattern makes itself clear, can’t stop. The words have always been too colourful for me to ignore. (Chorus) And can’t help flinching here because the lights are way the roses all smell dim and the water’s feeling bright Seeing with my different eyes, I don’t see the same as you, quite. (v.2) I know that I am a puzzle to you and that your patience is gone. I know my million different views d-d-drive you mad. My balance is found in ways that make no sense to you, And most of all, I can’t stand that I’ve made you sad. And (Chorus) And can’t help flinching here because the lights are way the roses all smell dim and the water’s feeling bright Seeing with my different eyes, I don’t see the same as you, quite. (Bridge) I hate that I’m so different Knowing that I’ve caused such frustration and pain. If I didn’t care, then it wouldn’t hurt so much When I see you turn away to keep yourself sane. I remember how alone I’ve been As all my schoolmates drew away And the wishing and the hoping and the futile dreams of Belonging (v.3) Always seem to see both sides, Private Hell if I don’t. Knowing that I’m right, but that no one ever knows why. Only adding to the wildness of my mind Will help you, if you let me, (Chorus) And can’t help flinching here because the lights are way the roses all smell dim and the water’s feeling bright Seeing with my different eyes, I don’t see the same as you, quite. (Final Chorus) And can’t help seeing the dark and hidden things secrets that you thought were gone and the patterns, then unseen maybe with my different eyes, I I ... I

Something has this denizen of the Emerald Realm quite afraid. (don't ya just want to go up and hug him?)

If ever there were to be artwork depicting the Radiant Knights, I would certainly include this one.
