I love that this cocktail table can display as many treasures as an ètagére. (And who doesn’t love to say ètagére?)

I must remember to mix up dining room chair colours again. I’ve not done that before or since this project. Kept clean and modern and I don’t believe it looks cutesy. #designdiary

This room, done at least fifteen years ago, reaffirms the principal of doing it correctly the first time. The walls have since been painted lighter, but classic, quality furnishings really do stand the test of time.

I’m actually packing my bag to head out of town for a couple of days. We’re checking out @kbshowhouse in West Palm and making a weekend of it. It’s not far from Naples but I’m as excited as if I were leaving town on a Gulfstream. #weekendgetaway
