And then there was flooring and trim! Reused the trim that was original to the house in the hallway but made the trim (and upper closet doors) for the bedrooms. It was nice to finally lay the flooring that had been sitting in a closet since we built the addition! Next up - the stairs!

Bathroom is getting very close to being done. Before lockdown we managed to get 260 - 4x16" subway tiles for less than $50 (another ReStore score!), the majority were dark grey, good number of light grey, and some white. Lots of discussion around how to use them lead to what you see here. Advice: when you want to use unpolished stone in a project wet it first to ensure the colour is right as the stone in the shower is not what it seemed to be. I made most of the wood trim from clear 1x12" pine lumber but threw in some of the original and molding for good measure.
