Hello Sunshine! Mural at 1854 Portage in Sunny St. James complete! I am so incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to make public art in Winnipeg. Projects like these are only possible through the support of the St. James Village Biz, Take Pride Winnipeg and Herc Rentals. A huge shout out as well to The Murals of Winnipeg Website! I was also fortunate this year to have the lovely Elan Beveridge join me again. Every project I am a part of is always for the community. I... always like to say I feel like I have done my job if I can produce a smile and take someone out of their day for a moment. In light of world events I really felt the need to do something uplifting and non political. This project also had special meaning as it was originally The Ox Cart Mural I painted 21 years ago. We were lucky enough to make it into the Winnipeg Free Press as well. Also a special thanks to Vandenberg’s for allowing us to paint on their newly landscaped frontage. I had the amazing privilege of refurbishing the Town of Poplarfield King Buck! He is a 30 plus year old statue that just needed a bit of love and a little hard labour! It truly was an honour to be able to leave the town with a monument that now truly reflects the character of this amazing small town and community! Most recent kitchen pics of a finished project, the heart of the home of a 4000 sf renovation. The island counter is 8x8 feet. Custom off white cabinets, Navy island and lower cabinets, stunning walnut accents, patina tin ceiling detail, Dolomite marble textured elongated hexagon backsplash, quartz counters and black hardware. I think this is a prime example of how mixed finishes can come together add texture and warmth to a space. It shows how accent lighting really enhances the overall feel. Underworld Scuba Mural completed one week ago! I must say it was a privilege and joy to work in St. James. The community was ever so amazing and appreciative. It's not too often you get to paint a massive Octopus on a building! I am so incredibly grateful to Tessa the owner at Underworld for not thinking I was absolutely crazy when I walked into her store 6 months ago and said I wanted to paint a giant Octopus because my 4 year old likes them. I also had the privilege of... being a mural mentor to the talented Julia Beveridge, we shared quite a few laughs, frustrations and slurpees. Just a before and after of the ever so common tindle stone that I painted to look like slate for a fraction of the price of replacing but allowing for a much more updated look. Really happy with how this one came together with a European Rustic Flare! German Schmear Brick details, patina tin tiles enhance the cascading pendants. Custom glassed in wine room with backlit stainless racking. Thanks ICAN for including in this unique addition.

Small Bathroom but big impact with hexagon mosaic and graphic decor tile! This one definitely highlights the importance of lighting.
