As a follow up to the KB Push Workout from yesterday, here’s the matching KB Pull Workout. Again, this workout took me just 15 minutes! I used 1 medium sized KB (you could use a Dumbbell or multiple sizes if you want) & I did the whole thing in my living room during a break from my computer. For a lot of people, a barrier to exercising at home is lack of equipment. I’ve heard comments that fitness equipment is too expensive, takes up a lot of space in the house, or that its hard to find. These 3 basic pieces can go a LONG way as to what you can do at home! In total they cost approx $50, I found them at a local Walmart this morning, and they don’t take up a lot of space in your home. Use them alone, or pair these tools with the use of your body weight, a cou...ch/stool/chair/coffee table and you can easily get a great workout in without leaving your house! After yesterday’s announcement on the new covid restrictions, i’m still hangin’ in there. Because my business operates within a private boutique studio where we have only ever offered private Personal Training services, I am able to continue seeing my clients on a one-on-one appointment only basis. ... As I have been saying from the beginning, I completely understand & respect those clients who are not comfortable visiting the studio just yet. As such, I will continue to offer online programs as well as FaceTime or Zoom sessions for those who are interested. Please wear a mask. Please wash your hands. Please practice social distancing. Please do not go out if you aren’t feeling well. Please follow the cohort rules. Please don’t host (or attend) gatherings. Please do whatever you can to keep yourself, your family/friends/coworkers/etc, & OUR community safe! #MotivationMonday I found some MOTIVATION! ...and natural light In author Oliver Burkeman’s October newsletter he introduced the idea of a Done List rather than a To-Do list ... The idea is simple - instead of starting the day in a Productivity Debt (as he likes to call it) from the stuff you didn’t finish yesterday, think of the beginning of each new day as a Zero Balance Every time you finish a task, write it down on your Done List. This way at the end of the day you’ll see a list of what you have accomplished (however long or short the list is) rather than beating yourself up over how little you managed to cross off your To-Do List At the end of the day I know that I often feel like I didn’t do anything or that I didn’t get anything done - having this list on my desk will help reenforce that fact that I actually have been productive & that I need to be kinder to myself See more

Last year I bought studded tires for my Mountain Bike and it was great!! So much fun! I’m already pumped to get out there again this season! It’s a slower (more recreational) ride, with a lot more bike handling skills & core muscles needed , but it was so nice to include another activity that gets me outside during our long winters. You don’t need a fatbike (although they are super nice). Go visit my friends at Pedalhead Bicycle Works to get set up! They know their stuff & have an option for every price range
