It’s almost that time of year again, won’t be long until we’re back on the boat and catching fish. We’re anticipating our busiest open water season yet, May is almost fully booked and June is half way there, I’d highly suggest booking your preferred dates before it’s too late. Walleye, Pike & Lake Trout open up in May, while Bass & Musky open in June, I’ll be chasing crappies all April as well. Can’t wait to see everyone and make it the best summer yet. Cheers.
It was a pretty special moment when big bad Joely Desnoyers set the hooks on this absolute giant, happy to be there to take it all in. Can’t say enough good things about Loon Lodge up in Temagami and how above and Beyond Adam goes for everyone. I highly recommend this gem of a spot to anyone who’s serious about catching trophies or looking for a nice getaway. Can’t wait to get back up there, until next year @Loonlodge.
Felt wicked shaking the rust off and getting back on the water this weekend with some buddies. Started the season off with a brown on Friday and then got into the walleyes on Saturday. I will start up fully guided ice trips as soon as possible, not sure what’s going to happen with the lockdown but I’ll be sure to keep everyone posted. Happy holidays.
Well it looks like another guiding season has come and gone. We ended it with a bang; Jay, myself and Colt put about 50 walleyes in the boat Saturday afternoon. Thank you so much to everyone who came out and made this another great season despite everything going on in the world. Now it’s Me fishing time, a half dozen musky trips lined up looking for a fall giant and then ending the season off on the Bay of Quinte. Cheers.
Wally’s all around. Bruce & Brodey beat up on some big cats and eyes fishing deep last week, while Amal & James hammered them on the shallow bite. It’s so much fun trying to put the puzzle pieces together every day, it should be a wicked end to the open water season.
You know it’s a real nice fish when it’s a struggle to lift her up. Nice Saturday afternoon musky trip with the Morin family, this is Scott’s new personal best and Brendan got his first two ever muskies. This is our first tiger musky in years, beautiful pattern on this thing, it’s really tough to beat fall fishing and it’s just getting started. Until next time lads.
Muskies are on fire right now, 11 have hit the bag in the last 3 trips. It’s been a season filled with walleye and trout trips, but it sure feels great to get back in the swing of things with the kings of the castle.
