Good Morning, and happy Sunday!! I hope you have been having a great weekend! Friday night was the Santa Claus Parade in Stirling, and every other year I get to watch it from my driveway with friends, cozy beside our firepit. This year has been different for many reasons, and one being that our parade was converted to a drive thru parade! We have three young daughters, and as much as we love the parade, we decided to pass this year. ... I was asked to make this cake for a lovely lady who decided to stay home as well. I am so happy that I was able to help make the evening special for her with this cake! Its no parade, but it sure is a beauty!! It was a short 6" vanilla cake, with black icing, with red geode and gold accents.
