Today is bitter sweet, bitter because we can't celebrate you in the way we had planned. I've dreamt of this day for the last 365 days...what theme it would be, who would be there to celebrate with us, what outfit you would wear, what cake you would smash, what fun you would have... And sweet, oh so very sweet because we have you, because we have our health, because you'll still giggle and smile having no clue what you missed out on, because we'll hold you and hug you as if the world is ok. I'm sure a lot of people will be celebrating things a little differently this year. But how grateful I am that we have something to celebrate.
