DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME What can we do!! Well one option is earlier bedtimes for 3 nights ahead, but we have run out of time for that ... So what I usually do because I am always last minute in my parenting lol is just jump in and adjust after. For naps/bedtime: For 3 days and 3 nights after the time change you can adjust naps and bedtime back by 30 minutes. So, if nap time is 9am adjust it to 8:30am and if bedtime is 7:30pm then have them in bed by 7pm (keeping in mind this will feel like 8pm). By day 4 you can switch everything to the new time. Mornings: Take it slow. If they normally wakes at 7am, that will now be 6am so wait 15 minutes before you go to them. Push it back 15 minutes every morning for 4 mornings until they have adjusted to the new time of 7am.

My work company Since Covid came I have been doing a lot more business work from home! As long as it is safe and proper precautions are taken I still do in home visits!... Some services have been easier to move virtual than others! Virtual prenatal classes have been going well as group class are still on hold Today I am working on a couple sleep plans #themamacoach #makingmotherhoodeasier #yougotthismama

Such a busy weekend! I worked Father’s Day at the hospital so we celebrated all of it yesterday! My kids are so lucky to have an incredible dad! He is so patient and fun!! @strongarm_wpg Next is my dad who I really don’t have words to describe! He taught me to work hard and that I can accomplish anything. He is so handy, every time he visits he fixes everything!! He has all the answers, is kind and goofy!... And finally, Thomas! He made me a mom, which is the job I am most proud of!! last fall with the lovely @ericalophotography

At 2122 9 years ago I met this guy for the first time! My labour was pretty fast. He was distressed by the end so the delivery also happened very fast! It was an operative vagina delivery, a vacuum delivery. He required some interventions at birth but was soon brought to me.... I was a labour and delivery nurse so I knew what to expect. One of my main reasons for the passion behind offering prenatal classes is that it is good to know what to expect and how things can go. It is best to feel prepared and be aware of the different avenues of labour and delivery! These days he loves Pokémon, nerf guns, sports, animals and so much more. He is so sweet and kind and I couldn’t be prouder!! For a birthday cake it had to be a chocolate fudge cake with mint chocolate chip ice cream with a cherry on top!

NAPS! Who doesn’t like a good nap!? I am just making up a couple of sleep plans and both little ones are nearing the end of napping! My little guy just turned 3 and he still likes to have a nap some afternoons! Most of the time it is just 30 minutes, sometimes (if I am lucky ) it is an hour but it doesn’t mess with his bedtime or mornings and puts him in a better mood for the rest of the day! Kids are often ready to ditch that last nap around 2.5-3 years. Parents will u...sually know this because their little one becomes difficult to put down, they will just want to play in their room (quiet time like this is a great idea when they give up napping). Or sometimes we notice the nap has got to go if early mornings become a problem. If you have a child this age, best time for a nap is 1230 and you would want to cap the length of the nap so they are up in time for enough awake time to feel tired for bed...usually about 5-6 hours. Hope your weekend is full of rest and relaxation!!

This is 36! I had the best day today! I spent no time working and very little time on social media. I looked at my phone only enough to read lovely birthday wishes and not enough to take any pictures of the day. It all felt so great! Spent most of day outside with the fam , even with sunscreen got a little red to prove it Can’t wait for an excuse to wear these beauties other than around the house because I did that all day lol ... #themamacoach #yougotthismama #happybirthday #socialmediabreak
