There is a long version of what happened at the convention. It will be posted in a couple of days. I will include my debate points as I got to go head to head with Justin Trudeau and Bob Rae. Short form, many were upset about the lack of consultation on the constitution. A number who actually read it had serious concerns. The prevailing sentiment was that it doesn't matter what it says, you MUST support it. If you know me that is a powerful challenge to my version of democracy and governance. Susan Delacourt captures one of the lessons I was hoping that was learned at the convention.

#NOTrudeau I can't support the proposed #LPC constitution at #wpg2016. #cdnpoli Why? One substantive amendment needed before approval of the proposed constitution would be a section on Bylaws including the entire process for submitting bylaws, amending and approving them by the National Board AND the membership. Without this amendment I will vote NO to this proposed constitution.
