Not Bookkeeping or Tax related. We have just passed the 6 month mark that Holly has been missing, and with things reopening due to Covid I was just hoping everyone can keep their eyes open. Funny story I have heard some stories about what people claim as deductions over the years, and sometimes I "actually" sit there and literally shake my head!!! This year's winner goes out to an actual CPA (A chartered accountant) who deducted the fish in their office!!! Claimed them as a "business expense!"... Not sure if their name was Karen but clap, clap!!! Hope when they get audited they aren't swimming upstream without paddles right along side those .

It still isn't over yet for some of you and I'm still working hard at completing returns for many of you and will continue to for the remainder of the month and to be honest, all year long. Many of you are returning customers, and as always, I appreciate your continued support and business. For my newer clients, welcome aboard!! Unlike most tax businesses, I do not close down after tax season. I like to use the term "You're stuck with me for as long as you want me :) " meaning I am your tax lady for life.
