An amazing sunset, not one but three dogs, and a couple like these two. It doesn’t get much better than that
Finally got to shoot with @staceygo and her beautiful family it was so so so worth the wait.
I can’t get enough of these two. Had the best night with @katarinahat and Derek the other night, here’s a few of my many many many favourites
My heart is so full. Yesterday was my first time doing a full day of mini sessions and I’m already so sad it’s over. 8 families + 6 hours later I can honestly say I haven’t felt so at ease (and exhausted) in months words cannot express how happy I am to be back doing what I love. Also would you just look at how sweet @ourbarnesyard and her family is? This mini just happened to be at the perfect time of day to catch some snow and I’m in looooove with how they turned out Heather is also running a giveaway on her stories so someone else can win a mini session just like this one!
My incredibly talented sister FINALLY made an account for her handmade clay earrings Her designs are unique, beautiful, and affordable - they would make the perfect gift for the holidays! Pleaaaase give @nothingfancy.clay a look, you won’t regret it. @danifortier I’m so freaking proud of you!!
Even though yesterday’s news was as expected, it’s still hard to hear you’re unable to work for another four weeks, again. Lockdown phase one taught me that it’s a blessing in disguise to have all this free time. I was able to knock some things off my to-do list that I’d never have time for before, like joining a two-day seminar, rebranding, and designing a new website. Going into the next four weeks, I’m now on the stage of boredom that includes knitting cat-sized blankets and re-editing photos from months ago (like these ones). Feel free to leave me a comment or DM with a suggestion on how to spend the rest of lockdown before I go
Missing golden hour + champagne pops
I am so so so sooooo excited to finally let everyone know what I’ve been working on this week. A few posts back I shared that I’ve been taking some time during quarantine to focus on my brand. This week, I sat down and jotted down a few pages of everything I wanted my brand to be. I wrote down how I wanted it to look, feel, sound. I thought about what my potential clients might be looking for or wanting to know about me. I wrote (and re-wrote) tons of copy that would reflect... how I am in person hoping that anyone who visits my website would know me a little bit better. Once I started building this new vision I honestly didn’t want to stop until it was done. After a lot of coffee and very little sleep, I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! It would mean a lot to me if you checked out the new digs www.jenniferfortierphotos.com
