Had a great outing to Vandameer Nurseries with the Ajax Photo Club on the weekend. These cyclamen flowers are my favourite flowers at the nursery. Just love the pattern the petals make!

Cape Spear in the very blue pre-sunrise hour. This photo was taken in May 2019 at about 4:30 in the morning while me and a fellow photographer were the only ones there. I was hoping for a spectacular sunrise, however the Newfoundland weather had clouds for me that day instead. It was still amazing to be there and be #first in North America at sunrise that morning!

It’s not very often that you’ll find a fully intact dried up sea urchin. Usually the seagulls have broken them apart for the meat. Love the colour contrast between the moss and the sea urchin in this photo. Taken on Fogo Island, Newfoundland.

I don’t usually take a lot of architecture photos but the symmetry of this scene was irresistible! The pews, window and ceiling inside the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in St. John’s, Newfoundland are just breathtaking. The church has a self guided tour that brings you through this area and on to a small museum full of artifacts. Highly recommend you check it out if you’re in the area.
