Happy Valentines Day Everyone! I hope you and your family have had a love filled day celebrating not only Valentines Day but Family Day weekend! Today we were all about baking! We made peanut butter cookies this morning and this afternoon we made shortbread cookies. Check out the photo below of little Miss A. painting them before we popped them in the oven <3... Oh hey! It's been a few (ok, it's been a long time!) and thought I'd better pop on here and give you a little update as to what is happening around here! As you can imagine, business wise it's pretty quiet! We are back in lockdown and under a stay at home order here in Ontario. I personally have been closed since Christmas and have been playing the rescheduling game with families who had booked for the new year. A couple things real quick!... 1. YES I am booking sessions even though we are locked down. Sessions will take place once we are allowed to reopen. By booking now, families are able to have first choice at dates once we do open. 2. I am booking maternity, newborn, family, and headshot sessions right now. All these sessions will take place either in your home or outdoors (pending weather). I do not have a studio space open right now due to covid. 3. I am booking weddings for August 2021 and later. 2020 was a very different, tricky, and unique year. While I missed seeing some familiar faces due to covid, I was blessed to meet a lot of new ones! I was able to meet lots of new babies and photograph some incredible entrepreneurs. Christmas minis were nothing but a delight and I had a blast with each and every family that came out. This year I am looking forward to seeing families for Spring, Fall, and Christmas sessions again. I am excited to meet many new babies and visit some families I have grown close to while photographing them year after year. While I am closed I will try to keep on top of posting photos from previous sessions so that your feed can be filled with beautiful families and hopefully bring joy to your day! I, like many parents these days, are treading water with homeschooling my oldest, helping my bonus daughter with her virtual school, and jumping in to help friends with tutoring. I have a feeling, much like this time last year, we will be spending a lot of time playing board games, baking, binge watching netflix, and connecting with friends and family virtually. Speaking of connecting virtually, if you'd like to connect for a virtual coffee just let me know! It's always great to meet new people and reconnect with others! Is it actually November already? Where did October go!? I want to say thank you to all my amazing families who saw me this fall for their family photos! It was an absolute blast seeing some familiar faces again and meeting (a lot of) new faces! I'll (finally) be updating facebook with some of the fall sessions that happened, but for now, here are a few from last months Christmas mini sessions!... I love it when families return year after year to update their family photos. This was my third time photographing this family and it's been so much fun watching the girls grow!
