Eternal Smiles Dental Hygiene Studio 31.05.2021

#Repost @teethtalks.canada (@get_repost) Meet Jen Grzebien @eternal_smiles_dental_hygiene Jen is an independent dental hygienist.... At first, Jen was in retail management. Then she went to night school for 2 years while working full-time in order to get into the dental hygiene program at George Brown College. She graduated with honours in 2011 and started her independent mobile practice in 2015. She created a dental hygiene studio in her home in 2018 so she could care for her daughter who has autism. Last year, she started Mobile DH Solutions @mobile_dh_solutions with her friend, Regina Bermudez-Schlesinger RDH, to help other independent RDHs start their own mobile practices. They rent out the equipment and demonstrate how to use it. Jen is now working on a new studio space to accommodate this along with her private practice. Jen specializes in treating clients with dental phobias and special needs. She writes for Oral Health Group to inform others how to treat these clients as well as supporting independent practice. Besides writing, she also likes reading fiction novels, spending time with her son and daughter, and growing her own herbs. She is happy that spring is here so she can start designing her own garden. In one of her oralhealth articles, she said, "I have found entrepreneurship to be somewhat of a roller coaster ride. It is rewarding, yet scary. I have found that planning and strategizing are great, but the most important part is simply to start!" Thanksfor sharing your story, Jen! Thanksfor increasing access to oral health care and supporting independent dental hygienists. #independentdentalhygiene #independenthygienist
