I can honestly say 2020 was a fabulous fulfilling year for me up until these past few months. I struggled and I struggled hard. I made poor choices, I did not think I was good enough, small businesses (not just mine) took a fucking hard bullshit hit, you question every thought that r...uns through your mind, dealt with small minded people, questioned my worth, questioned my ability to be a good mom...so many things that moved into the dreaded grey area. I dislike the grey area. With all that said, deep down I was still happy. It was hard to find it but I was happy. One of my besties made a comment about "surface happy". So many people are surface happy. A show. A temporary bandaid. The idea that happiness is the next place, job, partner, or object/thing. Until you give up that idea that happiness is somewhere else, it will never be where you are. I've done a pretty good job at keeping my opinions to myself, respecting peoples choices and words they speak because no one knows what it's like to be in someone's else's shoes. So 2021 watch out. Fuck It Part 6 **Language Warning** Christmas 2020 where McDonalds and booze are essential but clothes aren't. Seriously who thinks this shit up? Since clothes aren't essential we decided to get crafty and make our own. ... Let's all face it, everyone is going bat shit crazy, climbing the walls, and can we talk about excessive drinking? RAISE YOUR GLASS! Putting everything aside, my crazy, dysfunctional little family wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I hope you all do what is best for you and your families. Don't snitch on your neighbours and mind your business this holiday season, for that matter all the time. No one knows what another is going through or who they need in their lives or what they need to do to keep moving through this fucking shit show we are calling life at the moment. We are not all in the same boat. Some have drowned, some are sinking, others sailing along and some floating in their yachts. Be mindful and respectful of each others choices.
