My thoughts go out to our Colleagues and fellow dance studios in Toronto Peel and Ottawa. It was tough to be closed the first time, a second time could be detrimental to our industry. Most dance studios are going above and beyond to keep our dancers safe!

It feels so amazing to see our dancers back in the studio! The energy is absolutely infectious! The smiles on their faces and watching them work hard is so inspiring! They are like sponges soaking up new choreography. Each group of kids that comes in offers a different vibe yet they are all so positive, appreciative to be back and eager to learn. The Studio IS OPEN today We want to have as many classes as we can right now! Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving!... We truly have so much to be thankful for. During these crazy times it really makes us appreciate the little things and puts prospective on what really is important. I am so thankful to be OPEN for business again! I am so thankful for those who have trusted in us and support us during these times. I am so thankful to see our dancers smiles in the studio. I am so thankful for my family and their support and encouragement during these times. I am so thankful to have amazing staff who are there when I need them most. I’m so thankful for our amazing community! I’m thankful to be in the location I am, and that we are still open. I am thankful I have amazing landlords. I am thankful I get to do what I love. I am thankful for the food on my table and for a roof over my head. I’m thankful for my boys and my girls (puppies) as they all bring so much joy to my life! I am thankful for all of YOU! Our second night of dance was a huge success! Loving our Tiny and Pixy teams! Here are a few photos we managed to get. We are all getting used to our new protocol and every is appreciating our efforts to keep everyone safe and healthy! Our community depends on us all for this!

See this gorgeous girl? She graduated high school this past year. Now, normally dancers go off to school then and unfortunately are not able to dance. We are so happy to say, she managed to pick all of her university courses, and still dance as well as teach at JJIU! We are excited she was able to stay an other year with us! @missgillian_ you shine bright!

One of the big lessons within the lessons we try to work on at JJIU is Confidence. Building children’s confidence is such a big part of helping them achieve their goals on and off the stage. Confidence is believing in yourself, feeling comfortable in your true-self, knowing you have worth. If you are confident, people believe you, confidence is attractive, brings success, helps to connect well with others and you generally feel happier. Who doesn’t want that for their ...child? As a mother myself, I have seen first hand the difference that confidence brings to my children’s lives. I have witnessed the difference coaches and leaders have had in their lives both positive and negative. it is important to put your children in the right environment to help them learn and grow. your children deserve it! With a little sprinkle of magic fairy dust our beautiful ballerinas turn into tiny fairies! Our Pre- Ballet class uses imagination to bring our the creativity in our dancers! Each class is full of magical adventures! At JJIU we teach more then dance! Each class is full of lessons within the lessons.
