Hosting friends and family this weekend? Or perhaps you’re looking for a gift to thank that sweet human who’s taken on the task of cooking for everyone. Either way, these stunning handcrafted boards by Halifax’s Daryl Wasson are guaranteed to please. Daryl has been proudly working with wood for a living since 2002. He designs and handcrafts each piece himself from local and exotic hardwoods under the name Breakers Woodworking. Apart from milling his own wood, he collects e...nd pieces that are discarded from a factory in Nova Scotia that would otherwise have been burned or thrown into a landfill. Daryl rescues these remnant pieces to recycle them into works of art that can be used everyday. "I saw these end pieces being wasted when they could be recycled into a thing of beauty and used everyday" https://www.jennifers.ns.ca/new-collection-56

We couldn’t be more tickled to announce that we now have Circle & Wick Candle Co. in store and online!! Circle & Wick Candle Co. is owned by two gal pals in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Self driven and hard working, they decided to team up together to create a side hustle that turned into so much more. Made with 100% soy wax to create a clean and natural burn. Scented with phthalate-free fragrance oils to produce a safe and soot-free aroma. Circle & Wick candles produce their flame... from a lead and zinc-free cotton wick. Good luck picking just one scent to fall in love with... that’s why a house has multiple rooms right?! So you don’t have to decide! https://www.jennifers.ns.ca/new-collection-52
