How can you ensure your ideal client hires YOU and not the competition? There are 5 things you can do to gain the upper hand: 1. Listen first. Offer a free 60-min. discovery call. Why such a long call? Because you really need to invest time into getting to know your prospect's story, their struggles and where they want to go. You also want the chance to coach them on that call so they can "try before they buy". - Be honest. Make sure you're 100% honest about what you do, what... you don't do, and set the expectations for what they can expect when working with you. - Use case studies. If you've had past clients whose story relates to your prospect's situation, tell their story and the end result (and, of course, don't disclose names or personal information). This gives prospects the confidence that you know how to help them get the results they're looking for. And if you don't have a previous client that relates, use stories from your personal life. - Do NOT use high pressure or false scarcity tactics! Even a small lie is a lie. No one resonates with inauthenticity. If someone is truly ready, they will sign up with you. (And if you need help closing the sale, check out my program, Win-Win, Sales Conversations Made Easy For Coaches: http://bit.ly/2GjkMoS You'll love it for helping you confidently go through your sales calls to create win-win sales for all!) - Be willing to say no. If a client is not the best match for your coaching, don't be afraid to say no. This will help you come from a position of abundance, not scarcity, which puts you in the driver's seat of your business. When you always feel like you 'need' the next sale, people can tell energetically that you need them more than they need you which will result in less sales. Now, I'd love to hear from you, which of the 5 points will you implement?
