A few tips for freezing your ground meat. Fold your bag prior to filling - freezer bags or food saver bags - this keeps the top clean for sealing/handling. Set the bag into a holding vessel for weighing. I've chosen my measuring cup as it is large enough and heavy enough so it won't tip. This limits the amount of time you need to handle the meat.... Take the time to press meat into bottom corners and flatten before sealing. This allows for better storage in the freezer as well as less time when thawing.
