Jenny For Your Thoughts 30.05.2021

Hi everyone! I just want to let you all know that I am in the process of developing a 4-part workshop series designed for people that are new to Personal Growth Work or maybe are even avoidant of it. If you or someone you know can benefit from something like this, please get in touch with me and let me know one thing about you and how you feel about Personal Growth Work. Jenny For Your Thoughts 04.02.2021

I haven't posted in quite some time, so I thought today would be a good day! Today is a good day to take care of yourself. So was yesterday, and so shall be tomorrow. Sometimes we get caught up in what is happening around us, and it happens so easily. What we often take for granted is that we are one person, just one. Our bodies take a beating our entire lives and it seems as if they were built to do just that. Today, I say let's beat ourselves up just a little bit less. Let...'s show ourselves some care, compassion and love. Forget all the rest for just a little while! We dont have to redo the kitchen, or repaint the house, or finish the landscaping in the yard, or anything else that has been on our list of things to do for months. This is not a vacation, or "spare time" where we "should" get all those things done. This is a pandemic. People are still getting sick, and people are still dying. This is a time where we need to love and nurture ourselves so that we can come out of this strong and healthy! If you have children or dependents, then it's even more important for you to take care of yourself so that you are strong and healthy for them. The more we fill our buckets, the more we can do for those we love. I want to hear your stories, your struggles, your wins! Please share and maybe, just maybe your words can help to comfort or even motivate another! Big virtual hugs to you all, we will get through this together

In a healthy, functioning life, every moment is faced with two options: accept or change. We make a choice to either accept our current situation for what it is and move on from it (let go of it) or we make a change, do something different. In an unhealthy or dysfunctional life we tend to get stuck in limbo, inbetween those two options. We dont accept our current situation, and yet we dont make a change either. There is not much room for growth in this place, until you decide... to choose: acceptance or change. The next time you are feeling unhappy or disturbed or "stuck" ask yourself: Do I accept this for what it is and can I let it go? If the answer is no, then ask yourself: What will I change? Change doesn't necessarily mean changing yourself or who you are, it could mean changing your environment, your habits, the people around you, your actions, any number of things or even just one thing! The smallest of changes can make all the difference in the world. Sometimes I feel that just being willing to take the action creates a shift that allows me to move through something. Dont get stuck in life!!

Name one thing you have done for YOU today! Practicing self-care is as important as breathing, remember to take time for what you need, whether it is to eat, sleep, exercise, meditate, bathe, write, hydrate, I can go on!
