Yummy! Love shooting holiday features. It's so refreshing experiencing the passion behind the creators of these dishes! - The excitement to show off their masterpieces and explain the dishes to me is one of the things I love most...but what I love even more...is getting to enjoy the dish after all the work is done!! Hehe.

A few of my favourites from my shoot today at Camp Beer Co. in Langley! Thank you to the team for having me at the brewery today to capture a little bit of who Camp Beer is & meeting your newest little addition to the family . I just love the beautiful branding that was done for this place...so clever, fun and nostalgic! Can’t wait to come back again for a cozy hang out soon.

Video for my family’s market! Here are the top 5 things I love about this video: 1) A recognizable team member is sharing face to camera (me hehe). Relationship building through my camera! 2) It isn’t scripted and perfect. I make mistakes in how I word things and sometimes my words don’t flow well. This is what makes it relatable and real! People do business with those they trust, like and relate to.... 3) I’m providing value with my own personal twist. While sharing about how to solve a potential problem (last minute shopping ideas), I’m also sharing some personal things about me too (I.e. I love licorice and eat it at work, my mom loves ginger, Aunit Di is putting this on sale soon). Social Media is meant to be personal and real, not a sales pitch and scripted. 4) I have tagged as many companies as I could in description. This means other companies will receive a notification and may share the video to their page, free content for them and another place for viewers to take in information. It’s also great for relationship building with vendors, they’ll remember you featured them and may bring it back to you one day:) 5) Closed captions included. It’s tedious and takes a long time to bring them together but they really make a difference. Most people are looking at their phones or computer in an environment where the sound can’t be on (especially during day), viewers can still understand what you’re saying and for those who are deaf too!
