So I'm making this table for my kids, kind of like a study table and I was thinking of doing a clear epoxy coating on the picture bit and then do black onyx epoxy from the back dripping on to the front to look like ink...what do you think? Any tips on how to acquire the black ink look?

Finally done my Dad's table! What do you all think? I'm personally hoping it's tall enough, the legs are 28 inches.

A table that I am working on for my Dad. Bear is the top part of the table and the silver and black part is the underneath. Coating it tomorrow.
