One of my favourite styles to do is monochromatic... what is monochromatic? Well, it’s when you use all of the same colour but in different tints and shades! Or all the colours in one colour on the colour wheel so for instance true red which is a primary colour and everything underneath it on the colour wheel! Absolutely love this look we created for Nikki on her wedding day a few weeks ago! A huge part of creating a bridal look is getting inspiration from my clients, inspiration for Nikki‘s hair and make up included red lips which is always super exciting! After inspiration is provided I take note of dress colour, style, what’s going to be in the bouquet (in terms of colour palette) and in many cases what her bridesmaids will be wearing ( also, the jewellery and/or hair accessor...ies worn). Another important part of this... her skin tone and eyecolor play a huge role in deciding what colours work best! When searching for your inspiration photos my biggest tip is to find women that look like you or at the very least similar features including same ethnicity! Before & After Here I am just before the lockdown and then here I am after...still doing what I love and I’m so grateful to STILL be doing what I love in a COVID world. I have to admit though, it was very overwhelming and super intimidating to go back to work. As my field in not regulated and work safe bc did not have a guide for me to go off of, it was a challenge but for me a challenge was very welcome (I really do live a good challenge!)! ... After taking multiple courses I realized that I’m already doing things right and I only needed to make a few adjustments to make my clients and myself comfortable and confident with beauty services in their home. It really is the truth when I say I’ve always been super sterile and on top of my cleanliness with my kit so it was a very easy transition for me and I encourage artists to reach out if they’re stuck navigating through all this! I’m a little late reposting this but this was such a great shoot to be on and I had such a great time working with Lisa and as always @michelemphotog I added hair extensions for length and more fulness to the hair style. The best way to blend your hair extensions is to add curl to your hair and then your natural hair blends right in with the curled extensions! #Repost @michelemphotog... Happy Hump Day! I am beyond excited to be a part of such a beautiful space filled with talented woman! I have been lashing for four years and have been mobile with my services the entire time! My goal/plan when starting lashes was to be a mobile artist and it has been an amazing experience but trying new things is a big must for me so here we go Recently I visited the @thestudio.hiddenbeauty on my birthday for nail services and fell in love with the space and people.... plus my fingers an...d toes look perfect After some thought and chitchat it has become official that I will be in this beautiful space one day a week doing lash lifts and lash extensions. I will still have my mobile service but if mobile is not something that works for you this is a great option to get your lashes done by me! I got into doing lashes because I love my career so much and wanted to add another service so my clients could have a one stop shop basically.
