Tonight, at sundown marks the beginning of Ramadan. I know this Ramadan will be another difficult one being separated from family and friends. However, I want to wish all of our Muslim friends and neighbours in Pickering-Uxbridge and across Canada, Ramadan Mubarak.

Today, Ontario recorded its second highest COVID-19 case count. Vaccines continue to arrive in larger quantities, but we must do everything we can to stop the spread of the virus. Stay home. Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Download the COVID-19 app.

This Battle was the first time all four divisions of the Canadian Corps fought together, leading to a distinctly Canadian triumph. While years have passed, the legacy of the Canadians who served in the First World War lives on.

Our Government shares the same urgency as Canadians regarding COVID-19 vaccines. That's why we've worked hard to not only meet our goals, but surpass them. We've exceeded our Q1 target by 4M and we'll continue doing everything we can to get as many vaccines as soon as possible!
